Religious Life, AN African Perspective
The Immaculate Heart Sisters of Africa (IHSA) is a Catholic religious congregation focused on education, evangelization, and empowering vulnerable women and girls, particularly against harmful practices like Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and child marriages. The cover photo shows a member of the IHSA congregation playing joyfully with children in the Gerald Goldin Memorial Day Care and Nursery School, which they opened in 2022 in Kisarawe, Tanzania.

A NEW DRIVER FOR FRIEDENHEIM
BY Fr Konrad Nefzger MCCJ | from “Walking with God’s People”
WHEN FR Lechner moved to Friedenheim, White Waters was without transport. Fr Leichner helped from Friedenheim, but a better solution had to be found. Sr Ambrosia was the first to try; she did well, but when she drove into the garage, she suddenly saw daylight again; the mud wall did not stop her! Sr Leona soon knew how to tame a lorry and took the transport under her care. Fr Lechner bought a new lorry for Friedenheim, and the old one was donated to White Waters.
